Case Studies

Shear Deformation of Droplets Using DPD

After the formation of droplets using two types of DPD paraticle, surfactant is placed on the interface. After relaxation, we calculated the results of adding shear to the system. If the shear speed γ increases, the amount of droplet deformation also increases. Also, when the surfactant is present on the interface, the amount of droplet deformation increases as compared to when the activator is not present.
